ACEPROOF RAINGUARD- High performance elastomeric coating has excellent elongation and can maintain a watertight seal while the roof expands and contracts for certain extent. It has high resistance to organic growth and has UV resistance properties too.
- For interior and exterior application for water resistance purpose.
- Provides a seamless, elastic and durable membrane.
- Contains fungicides and mildewcides.
- Prevents UV-degradation and premature roof failure.
- Easy to use, non-toxic and VOC-compliant water based roof coating.
- Can be applied by brush, roller, spray or squeegee.
- Surface Preparation: The surface to be applied should be dry, clean and sound, free from contamination, dirt, tar/bitumen coating etc. Thoroughly wire brush the surface and clean the dust by air compressor or by water jetting. Any damaged surface must be repaired by using crack fillers or polymer modified repair mortar. Treat any areas affected by Algae, moss or fungal growth with Aceproof Biotreat-Biocide wash solution.:
Priming – Apply 1 coat of Aceproof Ener-G Guard as self priming coat (1:1 dilution with water) and allow it to dry for 4-6 hrs. Two coats of Aceproof Brush N’ Bond can also be applied replacing the self-priming criteria for achieving better waterproofing system.
Method of Application – For Wall, Roof or Terrace: Post priming coat apply 2 subsequent coats without dilution with hard brush/roller at on interval of 4-6 hrs between coats.
